Premier Soccer League champions Dynamos are reported to be in need of an estimated $600 000 to participate in the 2014 edition of the CAF Champions League.

The Harare giants are reportedly contemplating not to participate in next year's continental club competition as they need $600 000 to fulfill their fixtures.

The Glamour Boys' coffers are dry and are reportedly negotiating with financiers BancABC to get the over half a million dollars, apart from their yearly budget, to cater for the Champions League.

In the 2013 edition of the CAF Champions League, Dynamos bowed out in the second round, but used an estimated $250 000 in accommodation, transport and match official expenses for the ties against Lesotho Correctional Services and Tunisia's CA Bizertin.

While reports claim Dynamos sponsors are currently reviewing the club's proposed budget submissions to come up with a sponsorship figure for next season, the partnership is reportedly cited as catering for specific lines of expenditure such as the team's salaries, kitting, part of the signing on fees, pre-camping and transport during the league tenure.

The sponsors, however, say they lack the muscle to finance the Champions League responsibilities and it might be gloom for Zimbabwe as the Glamour Boys have been the country's flagship in continental competitions.

Meanwhile, Highlanders petition to have their ban lifted is yet to be concluded with the football mother body still waiting for CAF's response.
