Reports coming from Masvingo indicate that Former Zimbabwe Union of Journalists President Matthew Takaona is currently being detained by the police after being arrested at a roadblock in Mucheke suburb.
Young journalists of Zimbabwe said Takaona was being accused of kumbeyambeya (driving aimlessly).
He is said to have produced his ZMC card and was pulled over while driving a Masvingo Mirror pool-car.
