Man kills friend over wife

A Bindura man was arraigned before a Bindura magistrate Ngonidzashe Nduna yesterday for allegedly killing his friend after a misunderstanding with his wife.
Tawanda Mankili (31) of Chipadze , Bindura was not asked to plead to the charge and was remanded in custody to March 23
The state alleged on February 22 Mankili was escorted to his home by his friend Livisen Sande (41) upon arrival the suspect started insulting his wife and shouting obscene language
Sande tried to stop his friend from insulting his wife and he became violent by scalding him with hot water before hitting him with a golf stick.
Sande became unconscious after the attack and was rushed to Bindura provincial hospital where he is currently admitted.
Sande subsquently died a few days later after his admission.
