MDC Youth Assembly official Discent Collins Bajila has announced that he has launched  a program that is aimed at developing a database of qualified citizens of Matabeleland and Midlands who will be assisted to get placements at the nursing schools in the Southern region.

Speaking to this reporter, Bajila said his program was influenced by the recent recruitment process that saw people from the region being sidelined.

The former Youth Assembly Secretary General said he is building a team of volunteers to assist him inpushing the project.

Let us look into the future and be more practical about our advocacy.

In 2020 the things that happened at Mpilo Hospital School of nursing must not happen. We must help our people in Bulawayo to apply in numbers. We must have physical and tangible evidence that they applied. We must help them FREE OF CHARGE.

So I have taken the first step in that direction. Spread the word.

Tell the young people of Bulawayo who have attained the age of 17 and from at most 2 sittings have at least 5 O Levels including Maths, Ndebele, English and a Science subject, (excluding Wood Work, Fashion and Fabrics or Food and Nutrition) to send applications to The application should include certified and scanned copies of ID, Birth Certificate and Academic certificates.

We will ensure that Mpilo Hospital and UBH receive the applications. No one will be charged for the delivery.

Those willing to join Team 2020 may send ideas to the same email. There is UCE, Hillside Teachers College, Bulawayo Polytechnic, School of Mines and so forth that need the same assistance.
